My name is Raphael Monteiro, I'm from Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, and I started in photography at age 11 as an assistant to my father—who was also a photographer. After gaining knowledge and experience in various areas, I overcame my fear and began my professional career.
My first jobs, in the early 2000s, were for McDonald's—a client I'm honored to serve to this day. Since then, I've also photographed for companies such as Gerdau, SEBRAE, BNDES, FGV, Citywire, Icatu Seguros, iFood, Jotun, TAAG Angola Airlines, International Meal Company, White Martins, Merck, Nivea, and Brasil Brokers, among others.
Over the years, I've come to see my work as a vocation—from the Latin vocare, "to call." This brings me a profound sense of responsibility and privilege. I believe that photography is a way to serve God and others, and that's why I strive to perform my craft with excellence, knowing that each well-made image glorifies God and generates real value for those who trust in me.
In corporate portraits, my purpose is to enhance my clients' professional image, helping them convey credibility, confidence, and identity. During each session, I strive to create a comfortable and safe environment where everyone feels respected and well-guided.
My legacy is to be remembered as an honest professional who works diligently and purposefully—capturing not just images, but stories and memories worthy of being remembered.
Today, I put my experience at the service of individuals and companies, capturing events and creating portraits that communicate truth, purpose, and credibility.
It will be a pleasure to tell your story through my lens.
